I think I was around 14 to 16 yrs. old . Although , remembering back , it was a little painful , it did not require any medical exam . Over the next few years , my knee would go out of place with no pain whatsoever . I later had surgery on my left knee to repair the patella . I guess my question is , WHY DID I NOT HAVE ANY PAIN WITH THE DISLOCATION AFTER THE INITIAL INJURY AND DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL TREATMENT ?
