Tibial plateau fractures are complex fracture involving articular surface of upper end tibia also called tibial plateau.
Because they are articular fractures in a weight bearing joint, it is important to treat this fractures with anatomical restoration of the joint congruity.
The xray belongs to 46 years old male who suffered injury in an accident.
The xray revealed depression of the lateral condyle along with comminuted fracture of medial condyle.
The patient was treated with open reduction and internal fixation followed by early joint mobilization
