Subtrochanteric Fracture Femur Fixed With Gap and Slight Angulation

Following fracture of femur in subtrochanteric region is not fixed in acceptable position. There is a gap betwen the fracture fragments and there is also malalignment due to anglation.

Poor fixation of subtrochanteric fracture

This kind of fixation is very prone to go into non union
