Intercondylar fractures of femur occur after substantial trauma. The xray is of 37 years old male who sustained this fracture following road traffic accident.
Intercondylar fracture of femur causes severe knee swelling as it is an intra articular fracture.
Also visible in the image is Cramer splint.

I too had a similar injury.What treatment was provided by you? Was there any loss in ROM of the knee?

@Ayush Chopra,
We did internal fixation with femoral condylar plate. Postoperative range of motion was 0-100 degrees. So there was loss of 2o degrees flexion.
So are there any new treatment available to increase the flexion? Any new technologies? besides the MUA etc..post operation
