Spurling maneuver


Spurling maneuver is done by putting axial load on head with neck extension and lateral rotation toward each shoulder. Paresthesias radiating past either shoulder signify a positive Spurling maneuver for cervical nerve root impingement indicating cervical radiculopathy.
