22 years old female had an accident while she was driving a scooter that resulted in injury to her right [dominant limb] forearm. Examination also revealed posterior interosseus nerve palsy.
Xray revealed fracture of proximal third of radius with mid shaft ulna.
The fractures were fixed with locking compression plate for radius and low contact dynamic compression plate for ulna. Posterior interosseus nerve was found tethered between two fragments of radius but was intact. [Read more...]
