The fracture was treated conservatively with an above elbow posterior splint.

53 year old woman fell on outstretched hand when a buffalo hit her and injured her elbow. Clinical examination revealed a dislocation of elbow.

Note the prominent olecronon which appears more posterior than its usual position and a taut prominent triceps. The elbow is kept in attitude of flexion.

The xray revealed a posterior dislocation of elbow.

The dislocation was reduced and an above elbow plaster was applied in flexion.

Cubitus Vlagus is the deformity of the elbow resulting in  forearm pointing outwards in relation to arm. One of the late complication of non union of humerus lateral condyle fracture is cubitus valgus.
