The xray belongs to 27 years old male who was injured in an accident and had an undisplaced fracture of upper tibia.
Twenty seven year old girl fell fro stairs and injured her leg. Xray of the leg revealed a comminuted fracture of the the tibia.
The fracture was minimally displaced and was treated with above knee cast.
21 year old male was hit by a motorcycle and it resulted in segmental fracture of tibia.
The fracture was operated with closed reduction and internal fixation using interlocking medullary nail as fixation device.
Following xray was taken after three months of surgery.

Uniting Segmental Fracture Tibia
The fracture has united at the proximal [upper] end and is uniting at the distal [lower] end. Patient has full knee and ankle movements.
